Designed in 1914 by the Maxwell brothers, the FACE School is one of Montreal's most distinguished heritage educational buildings, a neoclassical landmark whose ornate façades demanded exceptional care when deterioration set in.
Working alongside heritage conservation specialists EVOQ Architecture across three phases of restoration, our team carried out exterior elevation terra cotta block replacements and renewal, including decorative elements and cornices, recreating missing and deteriorated pieces to faithfully match the original profiles and detailing.
The project was recognised with an Award of Excellence for the Preservation of a Heritage Building by the Canadian Association of Heritage Professionals (CAHP).
Every building has a story worth preserving. We'll help you match its original character, down to the finest detail.
