William Wrigley Jr. originally came to Chicago selling soap — it was only when the free chewing gum he gave away with his products outsold everything else that a confectionery empire was born.
Designed by Graham, Anderson, Probst & White and completed in the 1920s, the Wrigley Building's twin towers stand at the gateway to the Magnificent Mile where Michigan Avenue crosses the Chicago River. Clad in a Spanish Baroque terra cotta facade of six graduating shades of white, it remains one of Chicago's most beloved landmarks.
Our team has supplied moulded and highly decorative terra cotta blocks to repair and reinstate the building's ornate facade, one of the most intricate and voluminous terra cotta restoration commissions of its kind. The project was awarded the City of Chicago Landmark Award for Preservation Excellence in 2014.
