Darwen Terracotta renews Environmental & Social Value Certification for second year running
We're proud to announce that Darwen Terracotta has renewed its Environmental & Social Value (ESV) Certification from Made in Britain for a second consecutive year, having been among the first companies to achieve it back in 2025.
The ESV Certification helps UK manufacturers evidence the wider impact they create beyond their products — covering jobs and skills, community engagement, environmental sustainability, and ethical and local supply chains. With Social Value now playing an increasingly important role in how buyers across both public and private sectors select their suppliers, the Certification allows us to demonstrate, clearly and credibly, the commitments already built into how we operate.
Renewing for a second year reflects our ongoing commitment to responsible manufacturing, from supporting local employment and skills here in Lancashire to reducing our environmental impact.
