  • The Victoria Palace Theatre on Victoria Street is one of London's great West End venues, designed by celebrated theatre architect Frank Matcham and opened in 1911. When new owners Delfont Mackintosh Theatres undertook a major refurbishment and extension of the Grade II* listed building, the historic faience façade needed careful attention.

We manufactured the replacement faience units to restore Matcham's original exterior, matching his detailing as closely as possible. We also supplied faience for the new east-side extension, where Aedas Arts Team's design philosophy was to complete what Matcham had started, making continuity of material essential.
